I'm Hazel, and in Nov 2006 my friend Jane and I took on a half plot at Hill Allotments, Sutton Coldfield - we want the satisfaction of growing and eating our own fruit and veg, and to improve our diet (and fitness!).

ReplyDeleteToo right, Flum - the flower chap in the town had the bunches all arranged by colour in buckets (these have come out pinker in the pic than the real life burnt orange), and I couldn't resist these, which match the new kitchen blinds!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite changes with what I see, Nic - last week my favourite floweres in the whole world were daffs, new week it will be the wallflowers just coming into bud on the front border at the Hill...
