It was lovely to receive a package through the post today courtesy of Vegetable Heaven which containing some heritage climbing pea seeds for me to try next year, along with some huge white butter beans.
These seeds are rather the straw that has broken the camel's back in terms of the seed box capacity, so I will have to have a serious look at what I would like to grow next year very soon.
And when I say 'the seed box' that doesn't include the basket upstairs in the attic room which is gradually filling up with paper bags of peas and beans...
You think you've got problems? Husband keeps asking "what are these" as more and more seed packets are taking over the fridge.
ReplyDeleteYou see, that's the thing about seeds. Those little packets of potential are just irresistible!
ReplyDeleteIf you will keep seeds by the brie in the fridge, Bilbo...why not store them with your fabric stash, he'd never find them! {grin}
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Flum - optimists love seeds - it's not just a 50p packet of sprouting cabbage seed from Wyevale, it's thousands of red cabbage enough for the whole of the West Mids! How great is that!
